When and where will the 2025 MotoGP World Championship kick off?
For the first time in a quarter of a century, the MotoGP season will start in Southeast Asia, specifically in Thailand, at the iconic Chang International Circuit. Which new talents will make their debut there? While these questions remain unanswered, what is clear is that riders and teams arrive with renewed strategies. The action will kick off from February 28 to March 2.
After the event in Thailand, the championship will travel to Argentina, the United States, and Qatar. Then, it will be Europe’s turn with the Spanish Grand Prix, followed by the French GP in Le Mans from May 9 to 11.
The riders will remain in European territory for 12 exciting races, until mid-September, when the calendar takes them to the San Marino Grand Prix.
The final stretch of the championship will move to Asia and Oceania: Japan from September 26 to 28, Indonesia from October 3 to 5, Australia from October 17 to 19, and Malaysia from October 24 to 26. Finally, the last two Grand Prix will take place on the Iberian Peninsula: first in Portugal, from November 7 to 9, and then in Valencia, in what will undoubtedly be an emotional return to the Ricardo Tormo circuit, hosting the motorcycle Grand Prix after its absence in 2024 due to the tragic flooding in Valencia. It will be from November 14 to 16, where the champion of 2025 will be crowned.
